DTYL Wraps up
The 1st Desmond Tutu Youth Leadership Institute, which concluded at midday yesterday, can be declared a resounding success. The overwhelming response of all who attended is that it was a positive and highly constructive experience that contributed to their understanding of diversity, personal growth as individuals and skills for good leaders - their words below speak volumes!
Comments of appreciation for:
"Meeting new people and learning so much about being a GOOD leader."

DTYL Update
The Youth Leadership Institute is well on its way! It has proven to be a historical event whereby representatives of the SRC structures at 24 Universities in South Africa representing Presidents, Secretary-Generals, Transformation Officers, etc. are present The wealth of talent and leadership potential is immeasurable. The need for meeting on a national platform has emerged. Therefore the Trust sees its role as a facilitator for youth leadership development and as an objective platform for dialogue for student leaders.
